Tiffney is the editor of the 2012 Journey To The Cross writing project, She is an ordained American Baptist minister and serves as Mother to her small children in Hillsborough, North Carolina. For sixteen years, she has worked in various capacities including the local church, the academy, and currently the non-profit sector. Her exposure to the intense sufferings of persons in Africa and Latin America have inspired her commitment to global social justice issues. She articulates an aspect of her perspective through her paintings which celebrate the unsung expressions of the global south.
