United through Generations

ScriptureEven Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God." "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her. Luke 1:36-38

Mary and Elizabeth are powerful women!  They are an example of God working simultaneously between generations.  God brings about salvation and the prophetic through the womb!  God works miracles in the lives of two women who represent so many of us at different seasons of our lives.  They represent women who are journeying together at different stages.  Yet, they are united for such a time as this to bring forward the purposes of God.  They both learn to embrace the miraculous and unexpected.  They both lean on each other until their babies are brought into the world.

What will be our miraculous this season?    We may have glimpses of it or no idea, nevertheless, we can be there for one another as it is revealed.  We sisters and brothers can lean on God through each other while we wait for revelation.

PrayerAlmighty God lead us to friends, sisters, brothers and mentors this season that will journey with us.  Give us the ability to embrace the gift of a different generation and a new season.  In name of Jesus.  Amen.

 The Reverend Everdith Landrau
